Binh Duong Provincial Police said they had just arrested Nguyen Hoang Nhi (34 years old, residing in Tay Ninh), one of four suspects who robbed a gold shop in Bau Bang district, Binh Duong province in March 2024.
On October 25, Binh Duong Provincial Police received Nhi from Cambodian authorities. Currently, the police force is transferring Nhi to Binh Duong for processing.
Thus, after 7 months of committing the crime, all 4 subjects who directly robbed the B.Q gold shop (Lai Uyen town, Bau Bang district) have been arrested.

The arrested subjects include: Pham Hoang Hung (born in 1996, residing in Ho Chi Minh City); Nguyen Linh Doan (born in 1994, permanent residence in Phuoc Hoi village, Que Lam commune, Nong Son district, Quang Nam province); Tran Quang Trieu (born in 1993, permanent residence in group 2, quarter 7, Tam Quan ward, Hoai Nhon town, Binh Dinh province) and Nguyen Hoang Nhi (34 years old, permanent residence in Tay Ninh).
In connection with the case, the police also arrested Nguyen Van Thinh (born in 1995, permanent residence in Phuoc Tinh commune, Long Dien district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) for assisting Doan in selling a quantity of stolen gold.

Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that at noon on March 3, 2024, a group of 4 people on motorbikes suddenly broke into the B.Q gold shop (Lai Uyen town, Bau Bang district). The subjects used an object resembling a gun to threaten the gold seller and robbed a large amount of gold.
The robbers acted very quickly, choosing a cabinet with a lot of gold and a large weight to rob. Immediately after committing the crime, the group got on two motorbikes and fled the scene. Trieu was arrested in Vung Tau, Doan turned himself in to the police. The police also arrested Thinh in Vung Tau, Thinh helped Doan sell some of the stolen gold.
