Previously, through the work of grasping the situation and managing the subject, the Duy Phuoc Commune Police, Duy Xuyen District discovered that Dang Thao (born in 1992, residing in Lang Chau Bac village, Duy Phuoc, Duy Xuyen) had many suspicious signs, so they focused their forces to monitor him.
Through an administrative inspection of Dang Thao's house, the police discovered illegal storage of drugs in Thao's bedroom. The seized evidence included: 1 plastic bag containing a white crystalline solid substance suspected to be methamphetamine (weighing 1.95g) and 1 set of drug paraphernalia. The rapid test result showed that Dang Thao was positive for drugs.
During the struggle, Thao confessed that the solid substance was drugs, bought for use.
The case is being investigated and handled by the Investigation Police Agency of Duy Xuyen District according to the provisions of law.
