On February 27, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Tra My district, Quang Nam province issued a decision to administratively fine H.V.C (born in 2006, residing in Tra Tap commune, Nam Tra My district) 7.5 million VND for posting untrue information on the social network TikTok.

Previously, H.V.C was one of the young men who were recruited for military service and focused on preparing to join the army. However, due to his desire to be happy and lack of legal knowledge, H.V.C posted on his TikTok account with the content "having just been visited by men on the first day" along with a photo of himself wearing a military uniform with a bruised face (using TikTok's filter software to change his face).
Due to the act of posting untrue information that affected the image of the soldier, the military receiving unit returned the young man H.V.C to the locality.
At the police station, H.V.C admitted that the posting of the above article was untrue, affecting the image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" and bad public opinion among the people.
Through working and being analyzed and instructed by the police, H.V.C realized his wrongdoings, voluntarily requested to remove the wrong post and wrote a corrective post on his personal TikTok page.
