Initial information, the incident occurred at around 7:30 a.m. on April 28 in Vinh Xuan commune (Tra On district, Vinh Long province).
At that time, Mr. N.V.B.C. (born in 1992, residing in Tam Ngai commune, Cau Ke district, Tra Vinh province) was shot at by a stranger with a gun.
After committing the crime, the subject walked onto National Highway 54 towards Tra On town (Tra On district) about 200m and suddenly used a gun to shoot himself in the head.
As soon as the incident occurred, Vinh Xuan Commune Police urgently arrived at the scene, and at the same time supported taking the victim and the subject to the hospital for emergency care.
At the scene, the investigation agency seized a homemade gun (rulo).
According to the initial investigation, the subject who caused the shooting was N.V.P (born in 1983, residing in Tra Con commune, Tra On district).
The Board of Directors of Vinh Long Provincial Police has directed the Criminal Police Department to coordinate with professional units to urgently investigate and clarify the above incident.
Currently, both the victim and the perpetrator of the shooting are being treated at a hospital in Can Tho City.
