The Hanoi People's Committee has just approved the 2025 land use plan of Quoc Oai district, with a total of 126 projects on an area of 1,068.02 hectares. The plan aims to upgrade infrastructure and comprehensively develop, meet the needs of the growing population and promote the local economy.
The most prominent is the North-South economic development axis project through Quoc Oai district with an area of 9 hectares, contributing to regional connectivity and promoting economic circulation. In addition, the North Phu Cat industrial park belt road project with a scale of 20 hectares promises to significantly improve the regional traffic infrastructure.
In the field of education, Quoc Oai district has implemented many important projects such as upgrading Liep Tuyet Secondary School (1.39ha), Dong Quang A Primary School (1.11ha) and Cao Ba Quat High School (3.5ha). These projects not only meet the learning needs but also improve the quality of education.
The district also focuses on developing the landscape and environment with projects such as renovating Soc 2 Lake in Hoa Thach Commune (0.1ha) and building a people's cemetery in Quoc Oai Town (3.8ha). These projects will create green space and improve the living environment of the people.
Cultural projects are also of interest, notably the cultural and sports center of Nghia Huong commune (1.4ha) and the Vietnam Museum of Nature (38.3ha) in Ngoc My and Liep Tuyet communes. These are projects of great cultural and scientific significance, helping Quoc Oai district become a more attractive destination in the future.
Projects such as the construction of a road connecting the National Children's Hospital, Facility 2, and the National Maternity Hospital, Facility 2 (7.9 hectares) will contribute to improving people's access to health services.
The People's Committee of Quoc Oai district is assigned to review and evaluate the feasibility of projects, organize information disclosure and closely monitor the implementation. At the same time, any arising cases must be promptly reported to the Hanoi People's Committee for additional approval, in order to ensure the highest feasibility and efficiency in implementing the 2025 land use plan.
