On the afternoon of December 2, the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province worked with departments, branches and 3 wards: Bac Lieu, Vinh Trach, Hiep Thanh on the headquarters and surplus real estate after the arrangement.
The official report of the Department of Finance of Ca Mau province said: Based on the review results, currently, in the wards of Bac Lieu, Vinh Trach, Hiep Thanh, there are 91 surplus houses and land that need to be handled after the rearrangement, of which 11 houses and land have been arranged and assigned to agencies, units and the remaining 80 houses and land are in the process of being reviewed, arranged and handled. Some surplus real estate facilities are vacant, degraded, and there is no specific arrangement or exploitation plan...

The Department of Finance proposed that the People's Committee of Ca Mau province assign 60 lists of surplus houses and land to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center for exploitation, auction or investment calling. Of which, Bac Lieu ward has 52 lists of houses and land; Vinh Trach ward has 8 lists of houses and land; 20 lists of surplus houses and land are assigned to localities for management and use, of which Bac Lieu ward has 6 lists of houses and land; Vinh Trach ward has 3 lists of houses and land; Hiep Thanh ward has 11 lists of houses and land.

At the meeting, units and localities agreed to propose arranging surplus facilities and headquarters to expand and upgrade schools; some facilities used as headquarters; large-scale facilities and real estate included in the investment calling plan.
Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee Lam Van Bi, Head of the Steering Committee for reviewing, arranging and handling surplus public assets, highly appreciated the initial results of the 3 localities, considering this a model for other localities to research and apply.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee noted that localities should urgently review and make accurate statistics to avoid degradation, loss and waste. At the same time, it is recommended that the Department of Education and Training review the network of schools, convert the functions of some headquarters to upgrade and build schools that meet national standards. The province will also survey and arrange a number of old headquarters in Bac Lieu ward as a basis for provincial departments and branches, creating favorable conditions for cadres, civil servants and public employees to perform their tasks.
