Can Tho e-Portal reported that Can Tho City People's Committee has issued Official Dispatch No. 4259/UBND-KT requesting to accelerate the progress of handling and exploiting surplus houses and land in the area.
Accordingly, Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee Truong Canh Tuyen requested the City Land Fund Development Center and the People's Committees of communes and wards assigned to urgently determine unit prices, terms, rental methods and issue rental notices for houses and land that have been approved for exploitation plans in the form of house rentals attached to land use rights.
The implementation results must be reported to the Department of Finance before August 15, 2026.
The above units must also complete dossiers, organize temporary use arrangement, functional conversion, transfer or exploitation of house and land facilities according to the approved plan.
Cases that still have problems, disputes, are encroached upon, leased or lent must be reviewed and resolved thoroughly; cases beyond authority must be promptly reported to competent authorities.
In this official dispatch, the Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee requested to prioritize resources for implementation, not to let houses and land continue to be left vacant and wasteful. Heads of units and localities must be responsible if they are slow to implement or do not complete on time.
