After half a month of focusing on directing and inspecting the operation of the two-level government in communes and wards in the area, Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan had a meeting and dialogue with citizens (July 15). This is the first public reception since the new government apparatus came into operation.
At the meeting, the authorities presented specifically the content of each case and proposed solutions to meet the legitimate aspirations of the people.
Mr. Tran Van Nu (residing in Bong Son ward) complained about the Decision to revoke the Land Use Rights Certificate (red book) of the People's Committee of Hoai Nhon town (before the merger) for plot No. 220, map sheet No. 59, with an area of over 847m2 of his family. Mr. Nu said that the above revocation decision was not in accordance with regulations.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Quang (residing in De Gi commune) complained about 3 issues: Proposal to revoke the Decision on land acquisition and implement the change of land use purpose for plot No. 328, map sheet No. 29 of his family; Proposal to handle Mr. Huynh Minh Kiem's encroachment on road land and restore the original state of plot No. 807, map sheet No. 7; requesting to review and handle the responsibility of local leaders in land management.
After listening to the people's opinions, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan affirmed that the provincial leaders always listen to, resolve the situation, and rationalize each complaint and recommendation of citizens in accordance with regulations.
Regarding Mr. Nu's case, the Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee found the above complaint to be well-founded. Mr. Pham Anh Tuan requested relevant levels, sectors and localities to revoke the Decision to revoke the red book, and at the same time return the book to Mr. Nu's family.
Regarding Mr. Quang's complaint, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan has directed the competent authorities to inspect, handle and resolve it according to regulations. Mr. Tuan assigned the People's Committee of De Gi commune to change the land use purpose for Mr. Quang's family; determine the boundary, adjust the route direction and dismantle the unsuitable construction concrete road section.
At the same time, the Chairman of the People's Committee of De Gi commune was asked to work with Mr. Huynh Minh Kiem to agree on the decision to reduce the fence to 3m, creating conditions for the construction of a concrete road on the old roadbed, returning the original state to Mr. Quang's family.
In case Mr. Quang does not agree with the resolution plan, the Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee will issue a Notice to terminate the complaint settlement in accordance with the procedures and regulations of law.
