According to Lao Dong reporters, many mini apartments and boarding houses are built by their owners in narrow alleys on Me Tri Thuong street, hanging up signs for rent at prices ranging from 4 - 6 million VND/room/month.

Nguyen Viet Ha (a second-year student at the University of Commerce) shared that there are currently almost no empty rooms in the mini apartment building he is renting in lane 112, Me Tri Thuong street. Most students like me choose to rent here because it is close to the central area.
"In recent months, many new mini apartments and rental houses have been built here. The end of the year is also the occasion for students, tenants often move rooms, so many homeowners here are vacant rooms and hanging up signs for rent" - Viet Ha said.

Also choosing to rent a room on Me Tri Thuong Street, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Lam (office worker in Hanoi) informed that his family is renting a mini apartment for 4 million VND/month, about 25-30m2 wide.
If calculating the monthly electricity and water bill, he will have to pay from 5-5.5 million VND/month, because it is located near the center of Hanoi, so this area has a lot of people renting.
Mr. Tran Manh Quan (owner of a mini apartment in Tu Liem ward, Hanoi) said that the mini apartment and boarding house segment here is chosen by many people who work and go to school, young couples because it is suitable for their income level and convenient for their children to study and live.
Mr. Quan also introduced to PV some new mini apartment buildings that people are building and completing in alleys, and posted signs announcing the year-end rental price from 4-6 million VND/room/month.
For some apartments located on large roads, tenants have just paid for the room, the rental price will be more expensive, ranging from 6-7 million VND/room/month, depending on the area and accompanying amenities.

Talking to Lao Dong, Mr. Nguyen Khac Tang (Head of residential group No. 4 Me Tri Thuong, Tu Liem ward, Hanoi) informed that from the end of 2024 until now, mini apartment buildings and new rental houses here have been continuously built.
According to Mr. Tang, this is also an area with many high-rise buildings, mini apartments, and long-term rental businesses, mainly students and people working there to rent because the area has a convenient location in the center of the capital.
