On May 10, according to information from the Provincial Land Fund Development Center on the progress of compensation, support, and resettlement to convert the function of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park (Bien Hoa City), up to now, the Provincial People's Committee has reclaimed and assigned the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to manage 12.02 hectares.
The whole area of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park conversion area has a total area of about 320.5 ha. In particular, the current retention area is 10.1 hectares including: Building of Industrial Zone Development Joint Stock Corporation (Sonadezi), Lam Son Park, Headquarters of Measurement Technical Center 3, Dong Nai Police Headquarters, State Auditing Headquarters in Region 13.
According to the plan, the authorities will complete site clearance for the auctioned land of 8.94 hectares (belonging to the 75-hectare area) and the construction area of the headquarters of state agencies (belonging to the 105-hectare provincial administrative center) in July 2025.
Previously, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province issued Decision No. 324/QD-UBND dated February 5, 2024 of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee approving the project to convert Bien Hoa Industrial Park 1 into Urban - Trade - Service Area and improve the environment.
Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park is the oldest industrial park in Vietnam, established in 1963 under the name Bien Hoa Industrial Park. After 1975, Bien Hoa Industrial Park changed its name to Bien Hoa Industrial Park 1.
