On May 16, the Land Acquisition Enforcement Board of Component Project 1 - Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project (section through Long Thanh District) carried out the land acquisition enforcement for a household in Long Duc Commune.
According to the plan, the Board will carry out compulsory land recovery for 15 households with land on map sheet No. 24, Long Duc commune. These are cases in which the district has organized propaganda and mobilization. Basically, people do not resist or obstruct. However, they have requested state agencies to consider granting resettlement to stabilize their lives.
After reviewing the provisions of current law, these cases are not eligible for resettlement consideration, but are considered for registration to buy social housing.
From now until May 22, the district will continue to propagate and mobilize, combined with compulsory land acquisition, demolition of houses and works, and relocation of assets on the land to hand over the site to the construction investor.
The Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway project through Long Thanh district is about 28km long, with a total area to be reclaimed of nearly 228 hectares, and the number of cases requiring land acquisition is 2,786.
Up to now, the district has cleared more than 99%.
