On the morning of March 24, the People's Committee of Da Nang City held a ceremony to attach a social apartment signboard to people with revolutionary contributions on Vu Mong Nguyen Street, Ngu Hanh Son District, Da Nang City. The project has 12 floors, one basement, one attic and 209 apartments from 65-77m2, with a total investment of more than 223 billion VND, invested by the Management Board of Investment and Construction of Civil, Industrial and Technical Infrastructure Projects of Da Nang. This is a new shelter for families of meritorious people facing housing difficulties.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City affirmed: "The Social Apartment Project for People with meritorious services to the revolution on Vu Mong Nguyen Street is a key project of great significance to the city, part of the program to implement the Project "Construction of social apartment buildings for families with meritorious services to the revolution with housing difficulties in Da Nang City in the period of 2020 to 2025".
The project contributes to the implementation of the goal of "Retitude", ensuring that families of people with revolutionary contributions in the city who are facing housing difficulties will have stable housing. At the same time, it creates conditions for people with meritorious services to improve their lives, ensuring the goal of "Household with meritorious services has a standard of living equal to or higher than the average of the people where they live".
According to the leader of Da Nang City, this apartment building will not only be a place to live but also a place to connect feelings, creating beautiful memories for families of meritorious people. We will make more efforts to continue implementing social security projects, contributing to bringing a better life to families of people with revolutionary contributions in the city in particular and all people of Da Nang City in general.
