On November 29, the Soc Son District Land Fund Development Center (Hanoi) coordinated with Thanh Xuan Joint Stock Auction Center to auction 58 land plots in Dong Lai village (Quang Tien commune).
58 plots of land to be auctioned have areas ranging from 90 - 224m2, with starting prices of 2.4 million VND/m2.
The auction is organized in the form of a maximum of 6 mandatory rounds, each price step is 3 million VND/m2. The deposit for each land plot is equal to 20% of the value of the auctioned land plot according to the approved starting price, equivalent to 223 million VND to nearly 550 million VND.
A leader of the People's Committee of Soc Son district said that when the auction of 58 land plots was in its 6th round, a group of customers acted to "disrupt" the auction.
This group of people had bid unreasonably high prices in previous auction rounds, until the 6th round when they bid 0 VND and did not continue to participate in the auction. Although the auction was disrupted, it still continued, and these lots will be auctioned again in the near future, the leader of Soc Son People's Committee shared.
It is known that there are 3 plots of land in this auction with prices up to over 30 billion VND/m2. Specifically, plots of land with codes A12, A13 and C6 were all paid 30,002,488,000 VND/m2. More than 20 other plots of land were also pushed up to prices from over 98 million VND/m2 to over 101 million VND/m2.
The first four rounds of bidding went smoothly. But by the fifth round, more than 40 lots had been paid an unbelievable price by a group of customers.
Then, in the 6th round - the final round to determine the winning price, this group of customers did not bid, causing the auction of the land plots to fail.
It is known that only 10/58 plots were successfully auctioned in this auction with prices ranging from 32 - 40 million VND/m2.
