On the afternoon of September 25, the National Assembly Standing Committee gave its opinion on the expected Audit Plan for 2026, the work report for 2025 and the report on the term of the State Audit.
Giving his opinion at the meeting, Chairman of the National Assembly Delegation Work Committee Nguyen Thanh Hai said that through contact with voters, people are very concerned about the real estate market.
Accordingly, the market currently has very low liquidity and there is a huge, unreasonable gap between buying demand and prices.
This is a very urgent and urgent issue, requiring the participation of many agencies such as auditing, inspection, and examination to find the root cause. We must catch the disease correctly and have appropriate treatment" - Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hai said.
According to Ms. Hai, the reality shows that the demand of buyers is very large but there is a huge gap compared to the financial capacity of the majority. Although there are many housing funds, people with real needs cannot access them because the supply is mainly focused on the high-end, expensive, luxury segments while the affordable segment is lacking.

The Chairman of the National Assembly's Delegation Work Committee added that this issue has even become a major social problem, affecting the marriage decisions of young people, because they cannot "set up" to " lose a job" when buying a house is too difficult, even for people with relatively high incomes.
"At the Central level, when meeting with the General Auditor, I will join the team with him, and he will give a speech that is expected to conduct an audit in the real estate sector in the near future" - Chairman of the Delegation Affairs Committee informed.
Therefore, Ms. Hai suggested that the State Audit pay attention to and include more clearly and specifically the audit contents related to the real estate market in the 2026 plan, in order to meet voters' wishes.
