For the old Ngoc Khanh and surrounding collective housing areas, it is recommended that the People's Committee of Ba Dinh District and the consulting unit re-study the functional space and infrastructure plan, have stronger solutions, do not leave the space alone; Kim Ma areas, TOD areas of S9 station must have specific solutions; research and create a traffic axis combined with landscape space; connect Ngoc Khanh Lake - Giang Vo Lake, the axis connecting Kim Ma Street and Nguyen Cong Hoan Street; in case of necessity, it is necessary to accept the demolition of some unsuitable works.
At the end of February 2025, the Hanoi People's Committee issued a decision approving the detailed planning task for the renovation and reconstruction of Kim Lien, Trung Tu, Khuong Thuong apartment buildings, at a scale of 1/500.
The city is also requesting the People's Committee of Hai Ba Trung District in April 2025 to submit for approval the tasks and detailed planning projects at a scale of 1/500 for 5 old apartment buildings: Dong Tam, Bach Mai, Dong Nhan - Dong Mac, Vinh Tuy, Minh Khai - Quynh Loi.
In Cau Giay district, by mid-2025, Nghia Tan apartment complex will be the first old apartment building in the city to complete the detailed planning at a scale of 1/500 for reconstruction in the period of 2021-2025.
