Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Decision No. 444/QD-TTg dated February 27, 2025, assigning the target of completing social housing in 2025 and the following years until 2030 for localities to add to the socio-economic development target.
According to the assigned targets in the Project, by 2030, Hai Duong province must complete 15,900 social housing units. The target to be completed in the 2025 - 2030 period is 15,281 units, including 536 units in 2025, 690 units in 2026, 2,874 units in 2027, 3,530 units in 2028, 3,850 units in 2029 and 3,801 units in 2030.
According to the Department of Construction of Hai Duong province, in the period of 2024-2025, the demand for social housing in urban areas in the province will be about 2,250 people. For the demand for workers' housing in industrial parks, the number of workers renting accommodation accounts for more than 18% of the total number of workers, equivalent to about 68,000 people in need of housing.
Since 2021, Hai Duong has completed 1 project with a total of 619 apartments (Social Housing Project belonging to the Nhi Chau Ward Residential Area Project, Hai Duong City); is implementing the construction of 1 project with a total of 336 apartments (Social Housing Project belonging to the new urban area project in the south of Hai Duong City), expected to be put into use before June 30, 2025; approved 1 investment project with a total of 390 apartments (ta Quang Buu apartment complex, Binh Han Ward, Hai Duong City), expected to be put into use before December 31, 2025.
