Previously, according to Decision No. 2905/QD-UB dated November 5, 2004 of the City People's Committee on land allocation to the Urban Environment Company to build a temporary solid waste landfill in Dong Hai 2 Ward, Hai An District (old), the city reclaimed 296,173.5 m2 of land in Dinh Vu area, Dong Hai 2 Ward and assigned it to the Urban Environment Company. Purpose of construction of temporary solid landfill: 159,078.6 m2 (phase 1 106,929.6 m2, phase 2: 52149 m2). Along with that, a mud tank and wastewater treatment plant will be built: 23,583.8 m2, isolation green tree planting area: 113,511 m2.
Up to now, the People's Committee of Hai Phong City has adjusted Decision No. 2905/QD-UB dated November 5, 2004. The adjustment is to reclaim 157,498.8 m2 of land in Dinh Vu area, Dong Hai ward and hand it over to Hai Phong Urban Environment Company Limited (formerly Urban Environment Company) to implement investment projects to build temporary solid waste landfills. The land use term is until another decision of the City People's Committee is issued.
The City People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to preside over and work with relevant agencies, units and localities to propose adjustments and termination of Decisions approving compensation plans in Decisions: No. 2200/QD-UB dated September 21, 2005 of the City People's Committee; No. 99/QD-UBND dated February 2, 2009 and No. 210/QD-UBND dated March 13, 2009 of the People's Committee of Hai An District (old) according to regulations. Hai Phong Urban Environment Company Limited is responsible for coordinating and providing relevant documents and records about the project to the Department of Agriculture and Environment and the People's Committee of Dong Hai Ward to carry out procedures to adjust and cancel the Decision approving the compensation plan according to regulations.
