In the past two weeks, the number of people coming to submit documents to resolve land procedures in Ngu Hanh Son district has increased dramatically. Especially at counter number 2, the one-stop department of Ngu Hanh Son district. This is the area where procedures for changing the purpose of use, inheriting and updating assets are received.
On the afternoon of April 9, the leader of Ngu Hanh Son district informed that previously, the counter received and processed an average of 40-50 records per day. However, this number has increased significantly recently. To meet the needs of the people, the district has arranged 4 staff members to be on duty at the reception door.
At the same time, in the face of a sudden increase in the number of people coming to the draw but limited ability to handle documents, Ngu Hanh Son district has implemented a number of measures to ensure order and minimize jostling and pushing.
"The district has arranged people to wait in line from the beginning of the working hours. Each citizen with a valid application will receive a unique number of steps, avoiding the situation of drawing lots for households. The lottery ticket clearly states the appointment time for receiving, helping people to take the initiative in time, can go to solve their own problems and come back later", Mr. Le Ngoc Nhat, Deputy Chief of Office of Ngu Hanh Son District People's Committee, discussed with Lao Dong Newspaper.
At the same time, Ngu Hanh Son district also set up a separate reception counter for people coming to receive results, shortening waiting time to only 3-5 minutes without having to draw or queue. The regulation that people must have a file to receive the number also contributes to limiting congestion and ensuring fairness for those coming to do transactions.
According to Mr. Nhat, the main reason for the sudden increase in land records is the mentality of people wanting to complete procedures before the arrangement of administrative units takes place.
