The project to expand Lý Thái Tổ Road in Zone I Đồ Sơn and develop the surrounding area is invested with the goal of completing the system of transportation infrastructure, urban technical infrastructure system on the territory of Đồ Sơn District according to the master plan.
The project scale is to clear the land area of the surrounding area with an area of approximately 5,072 ha; invest in expanding Lý Thái Tổ Road (from Quảng trường 15.5 to Vạn Bún intersection, Đồi Rồng project gate), with a length of 1,341 m. At the same time, invest in expanding according to the current status of 17.25 m-19 m to 34 m, specifically: road width Bn=34m, road surface width Bm=2x11.25 m, sidewalk width Bha=2x5 m, separation strip Bp=1.5 m; build a system of concrete reinforced steel walls, stone walls for locations along the road with a difference in elevation with the sidewalk of the road.
The urban technical infrastructure system along the entire route is also invested, including: water supply system, rainwater drainage system, technical pipeline, greenery, lighting, power substation.
Total investment of the project: 300,584 billion VND from the city budget. The project is implemented in Hải Sơn Ward, Vạn Hương Ward, Đồ Sơn District from 2024 - 2027.
The People's Council of Hải Phòng City assigned the People's Committee of the city to organize the preparation, appraisal, approval, and implementation of the project in accordance with the provisions of the Public Investment Law, the Housing Law, the Public Asset Management and Use Law, and other relevant laws and the content of this Resolution. At the same time, submit to the People's Council of the city to adjust the investment plan when there are changes in the purpose, scale, exceeding the total investment amount mentioned above.
Previously, according to the proposal for the investment plan of the Project to expand Lý Thái Tổ Road and urban renovation of Zone I Đồ Sơn of the People's Committee of Đồ Sơn District, currently, the technical infrastructure and traffic organization of Đồ Sơn (especially the tourist area) have been invested and built before 2010, but now they are no longer suitable and do not meet the large number of domestic and foreign tourists visiting for tourism. Therefore, the proposal to expand Lý Thái Tổ Road (from Quảng trường 15.5 to the Đồi Rồng project gate) and urban renovation of Zone I is necessary to ensure modern transportation infrastructure and traffic organization in the area, avoiding congestion during the tourist season.
