On March 19, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province held a meeting on the implementation of the general planning project and zoning plan in districts, towns, cities and Van Phong Economic Zone.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan assessed that covering zoning plans is identified as a breakthrough task for the locality in 2025.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan requested departments, branches and localities to make efforts and focus on completing the necessary procedures to approve the entire zoning plan in 2025; prioritize the implementation of planning in areas with key projects.
According to the report of the Department of Construction, in 2025, the whole province will have 92 planning projects under implementation.
As of March 17, Khanh Hoa has 6 approved projects, including 1 district construction plan and 5 zoning plan projects. Currently, the Khanh Hoa Urban Master Plan Project to 2045, with a vision to 2025, has been temporarily suspended according to the instructions of the Ministry of Construction.
For the remaining 85/90, the Department of Construction and localities and the Van Phong Economic Zone Management Board are urgently completing the procedures according to regulations. In particular, the project to adjust the General Planning of Ninh Hoa town is being completed by the Department of Construction and localities, and will soon be submitted to the Ministry of Construction for appraisal in the coming time.
