According to Lao Dong Newspaper reporters at noon on October 9, hundreds of workers were working at the Phu Thuan Industrial Park project site (Binh Dai district, Ben Tre province).
Mr. Pham Thanh Phong - Deputy Head of Project Management Department 3 (Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Civil and Industrial Works of Ben Tre Province) - said that currently, 6 construction packages of the Phu Thuan Industrial Park project are under construction.
"Specifically, the volume of roads N3, D1 and D3 (section from N3 to N4) reached 94.8% of the contract value. Up to now, the contractor has completed the asphalt concrete paving and is completing the installation of lighting, road painting and signs.
As for D2 traffic road, the volume has reached 81.9% of the contract value. The construction unit is currently paving the sidewalk, installing lighting, painting the road, and signs.
For N1 - N4 road, the volume reached 23.9% of the contract value, the contractor is installing stormwater drainage, completing sand pumping on the roadbed, and spreading graded stone on the roadbed" - Mr. Phong said.
According to Mr. Phong, currently, contractors are constructing the filling lots (B1, KT-T, KT-R) and the centralized wastewater treatment plant package, with a capacity of 4,500 m3/day and night, the volume reaching 1.8% of the contract value.
Mr. Bui Van Hiep - Director of the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Civil and Industrial Works of Ben Tre Province - said that the People's Committee of Ben Tre Province has approved the contractor selection plan for 11 construction packages of the Phu Thuan Industrial Park project. Of which, 6 packages are being implemented, the total construction volume of these 6 packages is 60.5%.
"The 2 bidding packages for traffic routes N2-D1-D3 (N1-N4) and the filling of lots, drainage ditches and trees have been opened for bidding and are evaluating bidding documents. The filling package is expected to be implemented in October 2024. The remaining 3 bidding packages (including: Transformer station; Fence of the entire area, guard house; 2 filling lots adjacent to Cua Dai river bank) are scheduled to select contractors in the first quarter of 2025 before bidding is organized," said Mr. Hiep.
The Phu Thuan Industrial Park project has a total investment of more than 3,539 billion VND, invested by the Ben Tre Province Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board. Of which, the provincial budget is more than 3,443 billion VND, the remaining from non-budgetary sources is more than 96.3 billion VND. The project implementation period is from 2017-2025, the construction site is in Phu Thuan and Long Dinh communes (Binh Dai district, Ben Tre province).
