Kon Tum - Kon Tum province is actively promoting the construction and completion of social housing projects to meet the needs of workers and low-income people.

On March 27, Chairman of Kon Tum Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Tuan directed to speed up the construction progress of social housing projects in the area.

Currently, Kon Tum province has two social housing projects being implemented with a total of 384 apartments. In the 2021-2024 period, 144 units have been completed, and it is expected that an additional 240 units will be completed by 2025.

Hoang Thanh Residential Area Project (Dak Cam Commune, Kon Tum City) invested by Vinh Quang I Trading Company Limited.

The resettlement housing area in the urban area south of Dak Bla bridge will be converted to social housing, invested by the Kon Tum Province Traffic, Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to monitor the progress and supervise the quality of the projects. The goal by 2030 is to have 2,200 social housing apartments in Kon Tum, with an average floor area of 30m2/person, ensuring that 100% of meritorious people and policy families are supported with housing.

These projects contribute to improving living conditions for low-income people and workers in industrial parks and promoting sustainable socio-economic development in the locality.
