On November 2, the People's Committee of Bao Loc City (Lam Dong) announced that it had just received a notice from the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province regarding the reclamation of land leased to Than Khuc Company Limited in Ward 1.
Bao Loc City People's Committee has directed relevant units to coordinate with relevant departments and branches to carry out prescribed steps for Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee to issue a decision to reclaim land in accordance with the provisions of law.
Previously, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee announced the forced recovery of land leased to Than Khuc Company Limited according to Decision (No. 286/QD-UBND) dated February 13, 2018.
The recovered land area is 20,881m², located on plots 23 and 24, map sheet 21, ward 1, Bao Loc city (located next to the Bao Loc city Youth Activity Center).
The reason for land revocation is that Than Khuc Company Limited violated the land law as stipulated in Clause 6 and Clause 8, Article 81, Land Law 2024.
Because after being granted land tax, Than Khuc Company Limited did not fulfill its financial obligations to the State.
Since receiving the land lease decision in February 2018, more than 24 months have passed, but this enterprise still has not implemented the project to put the land into use.
Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee requests that, within 45 days (from the date of receipt of the notice issued on October 31, 2024), Than Khuc Company Limited, the owner of the property attached to the land, and the person with related rights and obligations (if any) are responsible for organizing the handling of the property on the land (if any).
After the deadline specified in the above notice, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee will issue a decision to reclaim land according to regulations.
Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee assigns the Provincial People's Committee Office, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Ward 1 People's Committee (Bao Loc city) based on assigned functions, tasks and authorities to be responsible for monitoring the implementation and promptly reporting to the Provincial People's Committee.
The Department of Natural Resources and Environment is responsible before the law and the People's Committee of Lam Dong province for the honesty, objectivity, accuracy and legal basis of the proposal to reclaim land leased by Than Khuc Company Limited and other related issues.
