According to the report of the People's Committee of Bac An Phu Ward, the investment project to build a road and Van bridge connecting National Highway 37 with the approach road to Trieu Bridge through the ward has currently completed 0.9 km/1.6 km. To date, there are 14 households whose land has been recovered to implement the project that have not yet handed over the site.
For the project of the National Highway 17B Construction Investment Project with Provincial Road 352 through Nguyen Dai Nang Ward with a length of 5.44 km, up to now, Nguyen Dai Nang Ward has approved a compensation plan for 6 households with agricultural land; has not completed site clearance for 43 households. 17 households are eligible for resettlement, the ward has arranged 2 resettlement locations for households with recovered land areas.
In addition, the ward is also implementing 2 projects, the Project to invest in the construction of technical infrastructure for the Residential Area and the resettlement area of Minh Hoa commune (now Nguyen Dai Nang ward), with a scale of 2 hectares, a total investment of 39.6 billion VND. The project is submitting for appraisal the construction design after the basic design and implementing site clearance.
The Cua Lang residential area and resettlement area project, Hien Thanh ward, the old Kinh Mon town (now Nguyen Dai Nang ward) has a scale of 3.79 hectares, with a total investment of VND25.021 billion. The unit has selected a construction unit; is organizing site clearance. It is expected that before November 20, the contractor will carry out infrastructure construction.
Localities also pointed out a number of limitations, difficulties and obstacles in site clearance for project implementation. In which the main reason for the problem of site clearance is that some households do not agree with the compensation plan to support site clearance, the level of support for assets, trees, and crops on the land.
After checking and listening to the report, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Vu Tien Phung requested localities to focus on resolving problems in site clearance for projects and works under implementation. Departments and branches strengthen coordination and support localities and units in disbursing public investment capital, site clearance, and speeding up the progress of projects.
