At the beginning of the new year, at the construction site of the outdoor stage project combined with a walking path along the Huong River, the construction unit has gathered people and vehicles to construct and ensure the items.
This is a project to beautify and create landscape to exploit the two banks of the Perfume River to the maximum for cultural tourism. The project will be a place for entertainment and to organize major events of Hue City.
According to the design, the walking path along the Huong River is 432m long and 3m wide. The stage is semicircular, with a reinforced concrete floor structure and an area of 430m². The project has a total cost of 28.5 billion VND.
Speaking to Lao Dong, a representative of the construction unit said that currently, the progress of the project is being ensured. Machines and workers are driving piles to create a solid foundation for the central stage.
Regarding the Nguyen Hoang Road and Huong River Overpass Project, Mr. Thai Dinh Dao - Deputy Director of the Nguyen Hoang Road and Huong River Overpass Project said that the overpass project across the Huong River is a key traffic project of Hue City. To speed up the progress, the contractor mobilized 180 workers, working in 3 shifts, 4 teams continuously working to overcome the difficult weather conditions, ensuring the project is completed on schedule.
According to records, in the first days of the new year, the contractor is focusing resources, arranging many workers in many different categories to soon bring the project into consolidation, entering the final stage.
According to Mr. Thai Dinh Dao, to ensure the progress of the project, the contractor has mobilized a workforce to work 24/7. Currently, the amount of work that the contractor has completed is 93 - 95%.
Many key projects to be put into operation by the end of the first quarter of 2025
In 2025, Hue City is focusing on mobilizing resources to accelerate the completion of key infrastructure projects, especially transport infrastructure projects with connectivity and spillover properties; technical infrastructure projects to develop land funds; investment projects to develop infrastructure in economic zones and industrial parks to call for and attract investment, contributing to building Hue City worthy of a centrally-run city. Hue City leaders requested agencies and units to urgently focus on implementing tasks from the beginning of the year. For key projects, it is necessary to increase machinery and construction personnel. Regularly inspect, supervise and coordinate well with construction units to promptly remove obstacles in the process of implementing works and projects.
During the inspection of the outdoor stage project combined with the walking path along the Huong River, Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Hoang Hai Minh requested the investor and the construction unit, in addition to paying attention to the aesthetics of the project, to absolutely ensure the quality of the project, ensuring the main structures such as retaining walls, floors, and lighting.
According to the contractor, the unit is speeding up progress to put the semicircular stage into service for the public by the end of March 2025.
During the inspection of the Nguyen Hoang Street and Huong River Overpass Project, Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong emphasized the importance of the project to the city's socio-economic development. He requested relevant units to strengthen coordination, speed up progress, ensure project quality as well as comply with requirements on labor safety and environmental protection. Chairman of Hue City People's Committee requested that the project must be opened on time on March 26, 2025 to soon put into operation and serve the people.
