Phu Quoc enforces, reclaims more than 302,000m2 of occupied land

Kien Giang - This is considered a forced demolition with a large land area in Phu Quoc with an area of over 302,000m2, with forest land managed by the Phu Quoc Economic Zone Management Board.

On April 11, the authorities of Kien Giang province coordinated with Phu Quoc City to conduct enforcement and force the implementation of remedial measures for administrative violations in the field of land, according to 2 Decisions of the People's Committee of Kien Giang province.

Accordingly, the compulsory implementation of remedial measures under Decisions No. 956 and 960 dated April 13, 2022 forced the implementation of remedial measures against Ms. D.H.P (born in 1962), Ms. T.T.H (born in 2018), both residing in Rach Ham Ham Ham Hamlet, Ham Ninh Commune, Phu Quoc City.

Ms. P and Ms. H must take measures to remedy the consequences of administrative violations in the land sector. The consequences of administrative violations that need to be remedied are an area of more than 302,000 m2 of land in Duong Bao Hamlet, Duong To Commune.

Of which, more than 172,000 m2 of non-agricultural land (commercial and service land) has been allocated to companies; agricultural land other than rice land, special-use forest land, protective forest land, production forest land managed by Phu Quoc Economic Zone Management Board, an area of more than 129,000 m2 is occupied by Ms. P and H to dump soil, level rocks, plant trees and construct works.

Previously, on April 9 and 10, the authorities also carried out the compulsory recovery of the occupied land in Cua Can and Duong To communes.
