Trinh Minh Thanh, a student at Da Nang University of Foreign Languages, is also looking for someone to share a house on Phan Chau Trinh Street.
"I'm looking for 2 girls to share a house for 1.1 million VND/person. This is the central area of Da Nang so it's almost very close to places like Dragon Bridge, Han River bank, gas station, Supermarket, police...", Minh Thanh said.
According to Minh Thanh, new students can move in right away because the house also has a gas stove and the bathroom has hot and cold water, so it's very convenient. This is also the reason Minh Thanh chose to rent a whole house for temporary residence instead of a boarding house.
Scarcity of accommodation at the beginning of the school year
In Lien Chieu district, Da Nang city, there are currently many universities and colleges with an enrollment of up to thousands of students each year. That's why many students in this area are always looking for accommodation, but this also leads to a scarcity of accommodation at the beginning of the school year.

On social networking sites for renting rooms in Da Nang, each area will have different rental prices.
Affordable rooms near the industrial park in Lien Chieu district with prices ranging from 1.5 - 2 million VND/month are chosen by many students of the University of Education and Polytechnic University.
Many motel owners said that at the beginning of the school year, room prices in central areas of the city ranged from 2.5 to 4 million VND/month, and in areas near industrial parks, prices were often cheaper. ranging from 1.5 - 2.5 million VND/month.
For rented rooms with full amenities such as air conditioning and refrigerators near universities, the price ranges from 3 - 4 million VND/month, in some places up to 4 - 5 million VND/month.
