According to the reporter's records on the afternoon of October 20, the top of the villa was surrounded by nets and scaffolding. The railing of the top floor showed signs of being broken. The fence was covered with tarpaulin.
As reported, in 2022, Mr. C.T.S's villa was built without permission on a plot of land of about 600 square meters in a traditional brick and tile craft village in Gia An commune. Discovering the incident, in March 2022, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Tanh Linh district issued a decision to administratively sanction the owner of this villa for illegal construction. However, Mr. S continued to complete the construction of the above villa. The People's Committee of Tanh Linh district and the People's Committee of Gia An commune have repeatedly issued documents requesting the self-demolition of the illegal construction, but Mr. S has not yet complied.
On August 19, 2024, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Tanh Linh district proposed to develop a plan to enforce and dismantle Mr. S's illegal construction, to be completed before September 10, 2024.
On August 20, 2024, Gia An Commune People's Committee worked with Mr. C.T.S, requesting that Mr. S must dismantle the villa himself, with a deadline of August 30, 2024. Mr. S agreed to voluntarily dismantle the above violating construction, but requested time to dismantle it himself until October 20, 2024.
After that, the People's Committee of Tanh Linh district agreed that the time for self-demolition of this villa would be postponed to October 20, 2024. At the same time, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Tanh Linh district signed a decision to establish a Board to enforce the implementation of remedial measures against Mr. S.
