The Van Phong - Nha Trang Expressway, part of the North - South Expressway in the eastern part of the 2021 - 2025 period, is over 83km long and is expected to be basically completed by April 30, 2025. According to the report of Project Management Board 7 (Ministry of Transport), up to now, the site clearance work of the Van Phong - Nha Trang Expressway Project has basically completed the main expressway section.
However, there is still 1.44km that has not been constructed due to technical infrastructure problems and problems with site clearance at some local locations; the entire project has only completed the relocation of 146/164 technical infrastructure locations; the remaining 18 locations include: 1 medium voltage location, 2 lighting locations, 3 telecommunications locations, 12 high voltage locations of 110kV and 220kV.
In addition, there are 2 transformer station locations of rooftop solar power projects in Van Ninh district that have not been relocated. The main remaining problem is the relocation of high-voltage power lines with 12 locations that have not been relocated, making it impossible to complete construction items.
In particular, the locations are critical roads that greatly affect the progress of the main route, including: 2 intersections (Van Gia, National Highway 26); Tan Lam bridge; approach road to pier A of Song Cai 1 bridge; section Km333 + 550 - Km333 + 700.
In order to strive to complete the Van Phong - Nha Trang expressway project 8 months ahead of schedule, Project Management Board 7 proposed that the leaders of Khanh Hoa province direct the People's Committee of Ninh Hoa town to continue working and mobilizing the handover of the site to the construction unit while waiting for approval of the additional compensation plan.
Meanwhile, according to the Khanh Hoa Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, the 2024 public investment capital plan for the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Project, component 1, is VND 1,600 billion, but so far only more than VND 370 billion has been disbursed.
Currently, Ninh Hoa Town People's Committee has approved the transfer of investors in 77 batches with 815/1,043 cases of payment, reaching 78.14%, corresponding to the project area of 171/228ha.
The Ninh Hoa Town Land Fund Development Center has handed over the site for on-site construction of 28.17/31.5km (89.42%). Currently, contractors are leveling the newly handed over sections. However, some sections through residential areas with houses on the land must be resettled, so the board has coordinated with the Ninh Hoa Town Land Fund Development Center to continue to mobilize households to open public roads.
Regarding the relocation of technical infrastructure at the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Project, the construction unit has completed the relocation of the 35kV line and the 110kV line; the remaining 2 locations of the 220kV line are under construction.
For Ha Thanh Resettlement Area, up to now, Ninh Hoa Town Land Fund Development Center has handed over more than 6.7ha/7,182ha (93.5%). Currently, the investor has completed phase 1 with 120 lots/200 lots.
