“However, a large law like the Real Estate Business Law cannot be perfect because it involves many subjects. During the implementation process, if it is not suitable, it will continue to be adjusted to suit the reality of home buyers and investors" - Mr. Diep said.
Therefore, one of the ways to improve the selling price level of apartments is to improve market supply. In particular, the development of low-cost social housing will help the average selling price of apartments go down.

However, the 2023 Housing Law has abolished Article 78, which stipulates conditions for social housing support policies that only require certain housing and income conditions. This is a very important opening because social housing is mostly for workers and from other localities, so it is very difficult to access. At the same time, income calculated as total income from wages and salaries, if less than 15 million VND/month, is eligible to buy social housing.
