“However, a large law like the Real Estate Business Law cannot be perfect because it involves many subjects. During the implementation process, if it is not suitable, it will continue to be adjusted to suit the reality of home buyers and investors" - Mr. Diep said.

However, the 2023 Housing Law has abolished Article 78, which stipulates conditions for social housing support policies that only require certain housing and income conditions. At the same time, income calculated as total income from wages and salaries, if less than 15 million VND/month, is eligible to buy social housing.
