Hosting Nottingham Forest on the night of November 23, Arsenal surprised with a starting lineup missing Thomas Partey, Declan Rice and Kai Havertz.
But despite that, the Gunners still had an explosive first half. Martin Odegaard had just returned from injury but combined well with Saka on the right wing. The pair opened the scoring in the 15th minute when Saka fired a beautiful shot into the far corner.
Arsenal controlled the game well, with 11 shots in the first half. Right at the beginning of the second half, Saka assisted Partey to score a superb long-range shot from 22m.
In the 86th minute, Ethan Nwaneri tapped the ball into the net from Raheem Sterling's pass to seal a 3-0 victory for the Gunners.
Forest were stuck throughout the game, unable to create any clear-cut chances. Most of their attacks came from set pieces. In the final minutes, Jota Silva put the ball in the net for Raya but the goal was ruled out for offside.
The result leaves them in seventh place in the table, while Arsenal are just six points behind Premier League champions Man City. The win will send a strong message in their title race.
