Mykhailo Mudryk is a new player who cost Chelsea 100 million euros. However, he has never shown that he is worthy of this price. Under coach Enzo Maresca, Mudryk has only played 146 minutes in the Premier League.
However, Mudryk's form has been positive in the secondary competitions, with three goals and three assists in four Europa Conference League games, raising hopes that Chelsea could offload Mykhailo to other clubs.
Recently, there was information that Bayern Munich was interested in Mudryk. However, sporting director Max Eberl himself denied this, according to BILD: “He is an excellent player. He has a contract with Chelsea until 2031 and he costs a lot of money. Of course, we are monitoring the market and Mudryk is an excellent player. But at the moment, everything is just a rumor.”
After Bayern's 5-1 win over Ukraine's Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League, coach Kompany was asked about Mudryk. He also did not confirm any interest in the Chelsea star: "To be honest, I have not looked into this topic. I know some great Ukrainian footballers and you just mentioned Mudryk - but we will discuss these things in January. Let's talk about it later."
After three disappointing seasons, Mudryk still wants to keep trying. The Ukrainian player's agent confirmed that his client is focused on Chelsea: "Of course, players like Misha will always attract the attention of other clubs. But at the moment he has a contract with Chelsea and all his thoughts are on how to play well and get a place in the first team."
