As expected, Liverpool had a fairly easy match. In the 29th minute, Jota taped the ball into the net from close range after a pass from Nunez. The pace of the match was average but Accrington were still stuck in threatening the home team's goal.
In the 45th minute, Alexander-Arnold scored a great goal with a long-range shot into the top corner, doubling the gap for Liverpool.
At the beginning of the second half, Federico Chiesa came on for Szoboszlai and played very actively. In the 76th minute, Chiesa's shot was pushed away by the goalkeeper, Jayden thens rushed in at the right time to score into an empty net.
In the 90th minute, after many efforts, Chiesa put his name on the scoreboard with a low shot from a distance of about 20m. This was also his first goal for Liverpool since moving in the summer.
