Overview
It can be said that Thomas Frank has not yet met expectations since taking over as head coach of Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs are currently Ninth in the Premier League table, although the gap with the group participating in the European Cup is not large. However, the most worrying thing is the quality of the team's performance.
Tottenham have been in decline as the season has gone, and the excitement of the season has given way to the recognition that they have a lot of work to do if they want to break into the top group.
Spurs have surpassed the expected goals (xG) mark more than any other Premier League team this season, scoring 20 goals from just 11.2 xG - a difference of nearly 9 goals. However, their form has declined significantly.
Tottenham have won just two of their last nine games in all competitions - a run of games that included their worst recent performances. That was a 1-0 home loss to Chelsea with an xG of just 0.10, and a 1-4 defeat to Arsenal, where they created just 0.07 xG.
These are all numbers that show the worst xG performance in the Premier League this season, further deepening the risk of Spurs being caught up in the relegation race if they do not improve quickly.
Even in defense, Tottenham's laxity is very alarming. Spurs conceded seven goals in just three Premier League games in November - the same number as their total goals conceded in the previous three months (August to October).
In the middle of last week, they lit up some hope when they took a lead twice against PSG in the Champions League. However, losing 3-5 makes all efforts to look at the positive side unrealistic.
In theory, a home match against Fulham in 15th place should have been the perfect opportunity for Spurs to turn the season around. But in reality, very few fans feel confident, and they have every reason to doubt when looking at the team's poor home form.
If only counting the results at home this season, Spurs are currently second from bottom - only above Wolves - with only 5 points after 6 matches at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Of the 17 teams regularly in the Premier League in the last two seasons, none have won fewer home games (3) or lost more (4) or won fewer home points (2) in 2025 than Tottenham. Notably, they have not lost 10 home games in a calendar year since 2003 (10).
Rare positive news for Spurs fans is that Fulham are playing as badly away as Tottenham are playing badly at home.
Marco Silva's side have only picked up one point away from home since the start of the season - their lowest tally in the Premier League (as well as Wolves).
In fact, the Cottagers have lost five consecutive away games in the competition, their longest run of defeat since January to April 2019 (7).
Although Fulham is showing their worst away form ever under Silva, they still managed to bring home 2 wins in the last 3 rounds.
Head-to-head record
The last meeting between the two sides saw Fulham beat Tottenham 2-0 at Craven Cottage in March.
After winning eight of their nine Premier League meetings with Fulham in 2013-23 (D1), Tottenham have now gone winless in their last three games against Cottagers (D1 L2).
Fulham have also won 2 of their recent 3 Premier League meetings with Spurs (D1) - a record equal to the number of wins they have had in the previous 23 matches (D6, L 15).
Score prediction: Tottenham 3-2 Fulham
The match between Tottenham and Fulham takes place at 3:00 am on November 30 (Vietnam time).
