Man United coach makes decision on Garnacho's future

Ruben Amorim believes Alejandro Garnacho has not really adapted to Man United's playing style, but still believes in the 20-year-old talent.

In the FA Cup third round match, Man United beat Arsenal on penalties. In addition to the Red Devils' chances of winning the title, this match was also a special milestone for Garnacho. The young Argentine striker started for the first time in more than a month, since Man United's 3-2 loss to Nottingham Forest on December 7.

Garnacho was left out of the squad, despite not being injured, and his absence from the derby against Manchester City has also fuelled speculation that United could sell their young star.

Coach Ruben Amorim has recently confirmed Garnacho's future, according to Metro: "It's very clear. He has talent. He needs to learn to play in another position. He needs to improve in the box. He also needs to manage his position well even when he doesn't have the ball. But when he does, sometimes he doesn't operate in the right position to counter-attack, like I want him to.

Garnacho is still figuring out how to adapt to the new system. He is improving in training. He started the last game and will have a chance against Southampton.”

This season, Alejandro Garnacho has scored 3 goals and 1 assist after 19 matches in the Premier League. Only 20 years old, but he has had 3 seasons playing at the top level at Man United and is considered one of the players with great potential.
