In last season's Spanish Super Cup final, the two giants also created an exciting El Clasico. Madrid are the defending champions after defeating Barca 4-1 in Riyadh. In 2023, Xavi's Blaugrana had an excellent performance with a 3-1 victory.
In La Liga, the two teams are also competing fiercely. Real Madrid are at the top of the table with 43 points, while Barca are in third place with 38 points. Atletico Madrid defeated Barca last month, emerging as another formidable candidate for the La Liga title. So the winner of this final could bring a huge psychological advantage for the next stage.
Madrid will be desperate for revenge after being beaten 4-0 at home in El Clasico in October.
