Manager Arne Slot will experience the FA Cup for the first time since taking charge of Liverpool in the summer.

Liverpool won the FA Cup in 2021-22 and their last defeat in the competition was in 2012-13, when they suffered a surprise fourth-round defeat to Oldham Athletic, then in the third tier.
A similar scenario is unlikely to happen to Slot's men, as Accrington are currently struggling in 19th place in League Two (England's fourth tier). The two teams have only met once before, in an FA Cup match back in 1956.
With such a huge gap in class, Liverpool will likely field a B-team to give their key players a rest after a long period of hard work. However, the quality of the reserve players will probably be enough for them to easily overcome Accrington.
