Thomas Frank has yet to meet expectations since taking over as Tottenham Hotspur head coach. The "Roosters" are currently Ninth in the Premier League table, although the gap with the group participating in the European Cup is not too far. However, the most worrying thing is the quality of the team's performance.
Tottenham have been in decline as the season has passed. The initial excitement has given way to a much harsher reality. Spurs have far exceeded their expected goals (xG) than any Premier League team this season, scoring 20 goals from just 11.2 xG - a gap of nearly 9 goals. However, their form has declined significantly over time.
In theory, a home game against Fulham - who are in 15th place - should have been the perfect opportunity for Spurs to turn the season around. But in reality, very few of their fans feel confident.
If only counting home results this season, Spurs are currently second from bottom - just above Wolves - with only 5 points after 6 matches at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Of the 17 teams regularly in the Premier League in the last two seasons, none have won fewer home games (3) or lost more (4) or won fewer home points (3) in 2025 than Tottenham. Notably, Spurs have not lost 10 home games in a calendar year since 2003 (10).
The last meeting between the two sides also saw Fulham beat Tottenham 2-0 at Craven Cottage in March.
