Liverpool go into the match against Nottingham Forest without conceding a goal after three games. Coach Arne Slot has retained the same starting line-up that beat Manchester United 3-0. New signing Federico Chiesa has not been registered for the match as he still needs more time to recover from injury.
Playing at a bustling Anfield, Liverpool started the game proactively and continuously created opportunities, but they could not take advantage of them to score. Goalkeeper Matz Sels had an excellent match with ten saves for Forest.
The Kop put on good pressure throughout the first half, forcing the visitors to defend deep, but lacked a bit of luck to break the deadlock.

Despite their best efforts in the remaining minutes, The Kop could not close this fragile gap. In the end, with a 1-0 victory, Forest got their first full 3 points at Anfield since 1969. Thus, Man City is now the only team in the Premier League to have won all 4 rounds.
