Man United hosted Ipswich - an opponent in the relegation zone in round 27 of the Premier League, taking place in the early morning of February 27 (Vietnam time).
It was quite surprising when the visitors opened the scoring after only 4 minutes when Patrick Dorgu passed the ball incorrectly, forcing goalkeeper Andre Onana to run out, creating conditions for Omari Philogene to easily tap the ball into the empty net.
In the 22nd minute, while struggling to find an equalizer, United was quite lucky when Sam Morsy headed the ball into the net unexpectedly after Bruno Fernandes' free kick.
In the 26th minute, Matthijs De Ligt's dangerous shot put Man United ahead. Having an advantage, at the end of the first half, Dorgu received a red card for a rough foul on Hutchinson.
With only 10 men left, Man United played confusingly and Ipswich immediately equalized 2-2 in the first half's extra time, when Philogene fired a cross-angle shot past goalkeeper Onana.

Early in the second half, the home team scored an overhead goal when Harry Maguire headed the ball hard after Fernandes' corner kick. Ipswich increased the pressure, in order to take advantage of the advantage of being more players, but they could not penetrate the Red Devils' crowded defense.
The 3-2 victory helped United rise to 14th place in the rankings. Ipswich are still 18th after not winning a Premier League match in 2025.
