Joshua Zirkzee will probably miss the rest of the season with Manchester United after being injured in a waistal injury in a broken defeat against Newcastle. The Dutch player has gone through a difficult campaign since moving to Old Trafford last summer.
The 23 -year -old did not meet his £ 36.5 million at Old Trafford. The former striker of Bologna scored only 7 goals in 48 matches in all competitions. Zirkzee is part of the Low Discovering Scheme of Man United's lowest point in the Premier League.
Zirkzee kicked the main 1-4 defeat of Man United against Newcastle. However, he was forced to leave the field after 55 minutes and was replaced by Rasmus Hojlund, who was struggling to impress.

"Red Devils" still have 6 more matches in the Premier League, the last match against Aston Villa will take place at the end of May. Ruben Amorim's team is currently ranked 14th in the Premier League, 16 points behind the eligible position to attend the European Cup next season.
They can still win the Europa League this year after 2-2 with Lyon in the quarterfinals of the first leg. However, before the second leg took place, Amorim was facing a strong blow.
According to British media, Zirkzee went through trauma tests after the match at St James' Park. The Dutch striker seems to have to take a few weeks off and worse than the end of the season.
This news will not shock Amorim. He admitted after the match against Newcastle that Zirkzee's prognosis was not good.
"We have to rotate the squad because we are trying to recover for 2 days after each match. However, we also try to win this match. With Zirkzee, I think he will have to quit some matches. So focus on the next match against Lyon" - Amorim said.

Zirkzee expressed his gratitude to Man United fans for his constant support even though he had difficulty in form. The Dutchman claimed that he was motivated to succeed at Old Trafford.
"Of course, this is not the best stage. We all know what happened and what fans supported me, as they used to do at that time, could even be a relief.
They show that they don't give up me. They always support me. As I said earlier, this motivated you a lot " - the Dutch striker said.
