Manchester United have accepted that they have no choice but to agree a transfer fee of under £25 million from Juventus to facilitate Jadon Sancho's departure this summer. The Serie A side have refused to meet the price demanded by the Red Devils and have to negotiate another deal.
Sancho is not in Man United's plans under coach Ruben Amorim and is looking for a new destination in the summer transfer window of 2025. The Red Devils had hoped to sell the winger for £25 million after signing him for £73 million in 2021.
However, the former Dortmund player is in the final year of his contract and spent last season on loan at Chelsea. The Blues have decided to pay a £5 million fine to avoid signing an official contract with the England international this summer.

As a result, Sancho has returned to Old Trafford but is training separately from the first team of Man United. The 25-year-old, along with Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia, was allowed to return to training but only since 5pm, after Amorim and the other members had left.
And with just over six weeks left in the transfer window, Man United seemed to accept that they would need to change the terms for Sancho to leave. Football Italy said the Old Trafford team will not receive the fee as expected and will have to negotiate a lower figure.
Sancho is said to be eager to move to Juventus and is willing to wait until the deal is closed. The Turin side have also stepped up negotiations to reach an early agreement with Man United.
The English striker has a problem with his salary as Chelsea cannot reach a buy-a- deal. However, Sancho is said to be willing to reduce his salary to move to Juventus, accepting the figure of 7 million pounds/year - less than half of his current salary.

Meanwhile, Juventus are also willing to trade players with Man United to reach an agreement. Dusan Vlahovic could join Old Trafford in the opposite direction.
Man United have been interested in the Serbian international, who was also pursued by Arsenal before moving to Turin. Now, the 25-year-old seems to be about to leave Juventus.
Douglas Luiz is also currently targeted by Man United. The 27-year-old midfielder has been with Aston Villa for five years before moving to Serie A, but has yet to confirm his position.
In addition, Timothy Weah is another possible option. The winger has recently rejected an offer to move to Nottingham Forest.
Now, if Man United can sell Sancho, it will help them increase their transfer budget and free up their salary fund. Amorim's side have completed their first contract in the summer of 2025, when Matheus Cunha joined Old Trafford for £62.5 million from Wolves. And it is expected that the "Red Devils" will have many other new contracts.
