Overview
Lazio are in impressive form, winning their last six games in all competitions. Their most recent defeat came against Juventus in Turin, when they were down a man for the entire second half and only lost by a narrow margin.
Before round 13, Lazio was only 1 point behind Napoli in the lead. Therefore, coach Marco Baroni's team will be very eager to accumulate more points.
Boulaye Dia has been Lazio's talisman this season and his goals have earned them plenty of points. The Senegalese striker has six goals in all competitions, all of them at home.
On the other side of the front line, Bologna has clearly declined after saying goodbye to many key players, especially coach Thiago Motta. However, with the available foundation, they have gradually improved their performance in recent times.
Despite disappointing in the Champions League, if only counting Serie A, Bologna are on a 9-match unbeaten streak. They have won their last 3 matches and climbed to 8th place, thereby keeping alive the hope of chasing the European Cup group.
Overall, both teams are in very good form so this match promises to be very exciting and dramatic. However, with home field advantage, Lazio will be rated slightly better.
Baroni's side are yet to lose a game at the Stadio Olimpico this season. They have played eight home games, winning seven and drawing one. With that impressive form, Lazio will be confident of hosting Bologna.
