Three games is enough time to change the situation around Manchester United. However, there are more positive and profound signs that things are starting to look bright for coach Ruben Amorim.
The difficult draw with Arsenal in early March this year seems to have reinforced something in Man United's mentality. Instead of declining, this time the "Red Devils" continued their upward momentum to defeat Real Sociedad 4 days later. In that match, even Joshua Zirkzee and Casemiro, who had lost form, showed their positivity with their performances.
Fernandes has scored or assisted in his last four Premier League games. The Portuguese has only had a better run of form in the competition twice before (February to June 2020 and December 2022 to February 2023).
Garnacho and Hojlund's goals against Leicester were also a welcome release. This was Garnacho's first goal in the league in 17 appearances, while Hojlund also scored his first goal in his last 14 Premier League games.

"We are still far from what I expected so I won't feel too satisfied. Our performance and results are getting better and better, but the whole team needs to continue to win and improve. I'm seeing the positives in the team," Amorim said after the win over Leicester.
The signs are all good, but no one can say that defeating a mid-level team in La Liga in a superior position is a feat. Or overcoming a weak team like Leicester City is something big.
Amorim's side will face a more difficult challenge when they meet Nottingham Forest, who have kept the most clean sheets in the Premier League this season.
If there is no motivation for big matches like when Man United impressed Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea under Amorim, this will be a challenge in spirit as well as tactical understanding at City Ground.
The next 3 matches against Newcastle, Lyon and Man City will be much more exciting if Man United defeats Nottingham. And Amorim's era at Old Trafford could really start to take off.
"I'm really confident. Man United seems to have just experienced a small revival. The players are more confident, the energy is also different. Even if we win, we still have a lot to improve. But the whole team is at a different time, more confident and ready for the last two months of the season," Amorim said ahead of the Nottingham game.
