Joao Felix prepares to join PSG
According to Relevo, Paris St Germain are eager to sign Atletico Madrid striker Joao Felix.
The Ligue 1 champions are looking to increase the firepower of their attack this summer following the departure of Lionel Messi and big questions about the future of Kylian Mbappe.
Felix, 23, had a disappointing loan spell at Chelsea in the second half of last season, scoring just four goals.
The Portuguese striker has struggled at Atletico since moving from Benfica for €126 million in 2019, scoring 34 goals.
After a disagreement with coach Diego Simeone last season, it was reported that the La Liga representative was eager to sell Felix this summer. But with a contract until 2027, Atletico are looking for an opportunity to sell Felix instead of lending.
Coach Luis Enrique is said to be very eager to make Felix his first contract after agreeing to lead PSG. It is likely that the former Barcelona coach will replace Christophe Galtier to lead the Ligue 1 champions.
