The deadline for the 2025 summer market in the UK will close at 7pm (local time), instead of 11pm as every year.
This notice has been sent to all English teams to ensure that none of them miss the last-minute transfer plans.
The announcement came after the Football Association (FA), the Premier League, and the English and Welsh professional football associations (EFL) agreed on May 15.
The purpose of this is to help the staff of the teams get used to the more normal working rhythm in the final hours of the summer transfer market.
After the UK organizers agreed, they are hoping that other European tournaments will also change the deadline to systematize all major tournaments in the old continent.
However, this is almost unimaginable because other major tournaments such as Germany, Spain, Italy or France are not completely dependent on the English player market.

In the summer of 2025, there will be a very special event for many clubs, which is the FIFA Club World Cup held in the US. Since March, clubs have been confirmed to have 2 transfers this summer.
The first half is spent spent exclusively on Premier League sides. That period is 10 days (from June 1 to 10.6).
This is a special mechanism of FIFA for the Premier League so that teams in this tournament system have the opportunity to urgently add forces to compete in the FIFA Club World Cup.
The two representatives of the foggy country, Chelsea and Manchester City, will benefit and they can calculate to complete the squad before the tournament officially starts on June 14.
The second transfer window, as usual, will start from June 16 and will close on September 1.
There have been opinions that this second period should be moved forward and closed before the 2024-2025 season starts.
However, the federations could not reach an agreement because the English teams thought they were at a disadvantage.

Clubs usually have about 2 hours to complete transfer transactions after the official player market ends, although the relevant documents on transfers must be submitted to FIFA before 7:00 p.m. on the last day.
Currently, the upcoming winter transfer window has not yet had a closing date set.
It will start on January 1, 2026 but it is uncertain whether it will end 1 month later. Maybe this time, FIFA will extend the deadline by 1 day and let it close on February 2, 2026.
