Round 12 of V.League 2024-2025 will take place over 3 days, September 8 and February 10. Notably, this round witnessed a significant number of players banned from playing.
According to the announcement from the organizing committee, up to 11 players were "suspended" in this round, including: Luong Duy Cuong, Le Quang Hung (Da Nang), Le Van Son, Jairo Lua (Hoang Anh Gia Lai), Le Manh Dung (Hai Phong), Ngo Tung Quoc (Binh Duong), Pham Tuan Hai, Vu Dinh Hai (Hanoi), Nguyen Van Bach (Song Lam Nghe An), Dang Van Tram (Ha Tinh) and Tran Dinh Trong (Hanoi Police).
These are all considered the key players of each team. Of the 11 banned players, some received red cards in the previous match, the rest received 3 yellow cards and disciplined decisions from the Organizing Committee.
Meanwhile, technical analysis officers of the Hanoi Police club, Mr. Pena Viegs Luis Filipe, have also not been on duty in this round because they have received all 3 yellow cards since the beginning of the season.
After the Lunar New Year holiday, V.League 2024-2025 is expected to be tense as the gap between positions on the rankings is very close. The tournament organizers also have plans to limit off-field violence and minimize the number of cards the referees have to withdraw in each match.
