Rajamangala Stadium has a capacity of more than 51,000 spectators, but with 47,000 tickets already sold, the remaining tickets will be distributed to away fans and some invitation tickets for partners of the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) and FAT.
With a record number of tickets sold, this match promises to bring an exciting atmosphere.
FAT President Madam Pang thanked Thai fans for quickly buying tickets and enthusiastically supporting the home team. She affirmed that the cheers from the audience were an important factor in helping the Thai team overcome all difficulties and win.
This is also the match with the largest audience of Thailand in the 2024 ASEAN Cup campaign. Previously, the matches of the Thai team at home only had a total of 40,880 spectators, in which the match with the highest audience was the match where Thailand won Malaysia with 25,619 viewers.
On the other side of the "front line", the Vietnamese team is receiving great expectations from fans in the journey to compete for the championship. However, coach Kim Sang-sik's team will face great pressure at Rajamangala, where 47,000 Thai spectators will create a passionate atmosphere.
The second leg of the 2024 ASEAN Cup final between Thailand and Vietnam will take place at 8:00 p.m. on January 5 at Rajamangala Stadium (Thailand).
Before that, the two teams will play the first leg of the final at Viet Tri Stadium (Phu Tho province) tonight (January 2).
