Recently, player Jason Quang Vinh Pendant has officially achieved Vietnamese citizenship. His Vietnamese name is Cao Pendant Quang Vinh, named after his mother's family.
After receiving the good news, the defender born in 1997 shared on the homepage of the Hanoi Police club.
Quang Vinh expressed: "My family and I are very proud to have received Vietnamese citizenship. My mother called me while I was practicing with the team, then I called back and my mother almost cried.
I am very excited while waiting for my citizenship. It's been a long time for me. I feel very happy that my process of applying for Vietnamese citizenship has ended well".
The player born in 1997 revealed: "I have 3 Vietnamese language classes per week. In addition, I also studied on my own through a phone application. My Vietnamese capital is getting better every day.
I love Vietnam. This is the wonderful environment I am living in. The Vietnamese people are very kind and hospitable. My family and I all like the dishes and scenic spots in our beautiful country.
Finally, Quang Vinh emphasized: "I am officially Vietnamese. This is a great source of motivation for me to continue to strive on the pitch. I will perform my best to prove myself for the goal of being called up to the national team".
