Hanoi Club recruits a central defender who played in Austria and Japan

Hanoi FC has just recruited Brazilian central defender - Adriel Tadeu Ferreira da Silva, - who played in Brazil, Japan and Austria.

Recently, Hanoi club has just announced a new contract with the name. Adriel Tadeu Ferreira da Silva. This is the second foreign player of the capital team after Hendrio.

Center back Adriel Tadeu was born in 1997 in Sao Paulo (Brazil) and started his career for the local team Osasco Audax. He soon went abroad when he moved to Gainare Tottori to play in J.League 3 (Japan) in 2019.

After a short time returning to his hometown, the 28-year-old centre-back marked his rise when he joined Austria Lustenau (authrich). In his first season, he and his team were crowned and won the right to play in the Austrian national championship.

In the 2023-2024 season, the Brazilian center back moved to the front of the team Blackz-Weiß Bregenz, playing for 2 seasons before agreeing to join Hanoi FC.

On the day of his new team's debut, Adriel Tadeu Ferreira shared: "For me, playing in a foreign country is not a big deal. I used to play football in Japan, returned to Brazil, then went to Austria, and now Vietnam.

I believe I will quickly adapt to the environment and playing style here. In particular, Hanoi FC is an ambitious team, always aiming for the championship and I like that".

Last season, Hanoi FC won the runner-up position in V.League 2025-2026. Therefore, the capital team set an ambition to conquer the throne after 3 empty seasons.
